Introduction to Arvelle
Arvelle Therapeutics is a biopharmaceutical company with the mission of bringing innovative solutions to patients suffering from CNS disorders. Arvelle is responsible for the development and commercialization of cenobamate, an investigational anti epileptic drug, in the European market. Arvelle is headquartered in Switzerland and received one of the largest initial financing commitments for a European-focused biopharmaceutical company with investments from a global syndicate including NovaQuest Capital Management, LSP, BRV Capital Management, Andera Partners and H.I.G. BioHealth Partners.
Your tasks and responsibilities
You will be the scientific expert of your territory responsible for discussing topics on a peer-to-peer basis and to build strong relationships with external stakeholder – with the main objective of indirectly improving patient outcomes.

Accountability Descriptions
  • Build peer–to peer relationships with healthcare professionals and institutions to establish and maintain a therapeutic leadership position. Rapidly disseminates recent scientific knowledge/data on Arvelle products in approved indications
  • Communicates recent scientific knowledge/data on Arvelle products in off-label indications upon unsolicited request
  • Responds to unsolicited requests for medical information
  • Ensures that customer insights are transmitted to in-country teams and also, where appropriate, into the above-country medical brand teams
  • Creates communication platforms with KOLs/institutions in line with therapeutic area defined strategies
  • Provide quality scientific presentations at internal and external meetings;
  • Ensure appropriate KOL/institutional involvement in Arvelle-sponsored activities;
  • Communicates KOL feedback on product development and life-cycle strategies
  • Be internal scientific/medical expert advisor to other staff members, conduct medical/scientific education and liaise with global/EU+ medical team
  • Support to marketing and market access functions in product and pricing strategies
  • Account planning alongside cross-functional team
  • Support the implementation of medical strategies through active participation at meetings, local congresses, implementation of medical education initiatives, and panel discussions
  • Facilitate and contribute to the organization of local advisory boards and play a lead role in those that address medical topics as a primary objective  
  • Provide local support for Regulatory Affairs, Drug Safety, Medical Information as appropriate
  • Implementation of local studies
  • Provide support for field force and other medical training as required
Your experience and knowledge
You have 3-5+ years’ experience as a Medical Science Liaison or in a Medical role capacity. You are a highly motivated, scientifically driven medical affairs professional who challenges the status quo, and thinks strategically.  
You will be the primary point of contact for your customer and you will hold a deep knowledge of your territory’s medical needs. You are collaborative, transparent and resilient and you have a proven track record.  Additionally, you have excellent communication, collaborative and problem-solving skills – all of which will make you successful in your new role.

Education and/or Experience:          
  • Advanced scientific or clinical degree (PhD, PharmD, or MD preferred) with a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in industry (i.e., biotech/pharmaceutical/medical device company), ³3 years’ experience as an MSL required
  • CNS experience not mandatory but preferred
  • Experience with product launch preferred
  • Native Swedish, fluent in English

  • Excellent communicator, skilled at diplomacy and capable of effectively combining science and relationship building
  • Up to 60% travel required
About us
Arvelle Therapeutics is an emerging biopharmaceutical company focusing on CNS. The company has an exclusive licensing agreement with SK Biopharmaceuticals to develop and commercialize cenobamate across Europe. Cenobamate is a potential novel anti-seizure medication for the treatment of focal-onset seizures in adult epilepsy patients.
 
Arvelle’s mission is to bring innovative CNS treatments to patients suffering from serious neurological disorders.
 
In preparation for the European launch of cenobamate, Arvelle has established its HQ in Switzerland and is setting up local teams across key European launch markets with offices in London, Munich, Madrid, Milan, Stockholm, Paris and New York. On top of that, the company establishing a Shared Service Center (SSC) based in Amsterdam. Arvelle has a total of 80 employees in Europe and the US and we will expand into over 200 employees in the next 1,5 years.
